It's an electronic authorization to enter Canada and travel freely.
Who can apply for Electronic Travel Authorization?
The Canadian government has determined nationals of certain countries who can apply for the electronic travel authorization.
How much does the Electronic Travel Authorization cost?
Once you apply, you will need to pay a fee of a total of $149.00 (US Dollars) only.
I have paid, what's next?
Once the payment is confirmed, an agent in our firm will contact you over the phone to verify the details and make sure you filled in the form correctly. You will receive the ETA within seven working days if you meet the requirements.
For how long can I stay in Canada after receiving the ETA?
The ETA will allow you to stay and travel in Canada for six months. There are options to extend your stay for an additional 12 months. Please ask a CISdesk agent to extend your visa.
Am I allowed to work in Canada if I receive an ETA?
No! But you can apply for jobs interviews freely. If you find a Canadian employer willing to hire you, you can apply for an LMIA exempt work permit. Please ask a CISdesk immigration advisor about LMIA.
